Request Account Deletion

At KAIL (by CBD KNUST), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated personal information, please follow the instructions below.

How to Request Deletion

1. Send an email to cbd@knust.edu.gh with the subject: "Account Deletion Request".
2. Include your full name, username, and the email address linked to your account.
3. Our team will process and confirm your request within 7 business days.

What Will Be Deleted

• Your personal information (name, email, etc.)
• Account settings and preferences
• Your profile data and contributions

Data That May Be Retained

In compliance with university policy, the following data may be retained:

• Job postings, research or grant listings — anonymized for record purposes
• Applications and responses from other users — retained in anonymized form
• Data necessary for audit or legal purposes

Note: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
